Craft is about more than the assembly of parts and you recognise it when you see. It brings together some physical ingredients with some less tangible human qualities such as knowledge, skill, and artistry. For the finest of things you also have something of the maker’s soul mixed in.

The result is something greater than the sum of its parts. Something meaningful and made to be valued rather than simply consumed.

You make, rather than assemble.
Your product is made through your own knowledge, skill and practice.

You have developed your own product.
It is original to your business, with thought given to materials, process and finish.

You care about how things are made.
Quality, detail and craftsmanship matter as much as the finished appearance.

You work at an artisan scale.
You are an independent UK maker with no more than 10 employees.
